Patrick + Staci | Grau Wedding | 9.17.16

September 17, 2016: A perfect day for a stunning wedding. The weather could not have been more wonderful with warm, comfortable temperatures accompanied by an overcast (a true photographer’s dream!) and took place at the De Novo Barn in Decorah, Iowa. These two are such a fun pair to be around and were both full of fun and laughter throughout their entire day. It truly warmed my heart to see Staci and Patrick glowing with true happiness and tie the knot surrounded by their loved ones!

“It didn’t take me long to realize that Patrick was the one. Right from the start, I knew there was something different about him and it melted me. The moment that it really hit me was after one of his baseball games, we picked up some food and took it back to the farm that I grew up on. Pat knew that my favorite part of the farm was the sunsets. So, he decided we should grab the futon we had sitting in our garage and carry it out to the backyard so we could enjoy it. Sitting there that night, in one of my favorite places with Pat, made me realize he was going to be so much more. I just knew that I found it. I found what so many people search for. Some people go an entire lifetime looking for what I realized I had in that moment. I just knew I was going to spend the rest of my life with my best friend.” -Staci

“As I sit here and fall more in love with my beautiful wife I am asked to relive the day that I knew that Staci was the one! The truth is I felt early on that I had a connection to Staci that I had never felt before. We had many great dates and conversations that honestly just keep getting better and better. But you ask for the first night that I knew for sure. So….Then one night we had a night of fun and friends and found ourselves looking at each other knowing what the other was thinking. She told me that she had to tell me something, at that moment I told her I already knew what she was going to say. And at the same time we both told each other we loved one another. Right then I knew had found someone who I was going to love for the rest of my life.” -Patrick
